Noodles Nail Polish Holiday 2024 Collection Swatches and Reviews

 *press samples*

Hello hello! Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers! I know it has been a hot minute since I've posted, but I've been busy with work this month. I'll actually be having Thanksgiving next week with my family instead of tomorrow. Don't worry, I'll still be watching the Macy's Parade and the dog show. Tonight I've got the Noodles Nail Polish Holiday Collection to share with you. It is a 6-piece collection of glitter and flakie goodness. Oh, and the NNP Black Friday sale starts at the same time! Here's what Natalie had to say about the sale:

Starts Friday, November 29th at 3 pm EST and ends Monday 11:59 PM EST.

30% off your entire purchase (excludes new holiday collection). No code necessary or minimum. Discount will be automatically applied at checkout.  Free shipping of $75 discount can also be used at checkout.

Stock is limited.  Some polishes I only have a few of, so if you have your eyes on any please shop as close to sale start as possible.  I cannot guarantee anything won't sell out or the time frame that it may.

There will be no restocks during the sale period.  If the new Holiday polishes sell out they will restock the weekend after the sale.  We will not have a free Black Friday mystery polish this year, but have upped our discount to make up for this.  As always thank you for picking Noodles this year.  You are the heart of my business!

The Holiday Collection will be released at the same time as the sale (Friday, November 29th) at 3 PM EST. Each polish will retail for $10.50 (remember, these are the only ones that will not be included in the sale). Shall we get to the swatches?

Polish Pickup November 2024 Nostalgic Toys: Noodles Nail Polish Holiday '94

 *press sample*

Hello hello everyone! I can't believe Halloween is tomorrow and Polish Pickup starts on Friday. It feels like October just flew by. Don't forget, it's Daylight Savings Time this weekend, so lots of our clocks will be falling back. I will be going to work and coming home in the dark, so I do not love DST. This month's Polish Pickup theme is Nostalgic Toys and wish listing is up right now, so get that cart ready. The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET Friday, November 1st and ends on Monday, November 4th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which can happen, but you have to be in the Facebook group for the notification) on the PPU website.

Noodles Nail Polish Holiday '94 1 coat (thumb, index, and thumb) over 2 coats Zoya Sia
Noodles Nail Polish Holiday '94 (ring and pinkie) 3 coats only
Inspiration: Holiday Barbie 1994
Price: $12
Bottle Limit: 200

Who didn't love Barbie, especially the holiday special editions? Just a quick reminder of what Holiday Barbie 1994 looked like:

Now just look how great Natalie did with the glitter topper this month! I say glitter topper, but this one can definitely be used on its own in 3 coats. It's a clear-based polish with a mix of holo and metallic gold glitters, metallic red and green glitters, and a touch of gold shimmer. This one just shines on the nail! If you are making this a full-coverage polish, I recommend dabbing on the first coat to position the glitters which will allow the subsequent layers to build up easily with more coats. This one does dry with lots of texture due to the glitters, so I recommend a coat of glitter-smoothing topcoat followed by a quick-dry topcoat to get that glass-like finish.

What are you picking up this month? Have you been making your list?  You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group

Noodles Nail Polish Halloween 2024 Duo Swatches and Reviews

 *press sample*

Happy Hump Day! As promised, I've got the Noodles Nail Polish Halloween duo to share with you. This set has a crelly and glitter topper that will be available this Saturday, October 5th at 5 PM EST. Don't worry, these will be sold individually for $10.50 if one happens to suit your fancy more than the other. Shall we get to some swatches?

Noodles Nail Polish Boo La La (2 coats)

I know some of you may have been sad that the Fall Collection didn't have a white crelly, but that's because Natalie was saving it for the Halloween Collection! Boo La La is a bright white crelly base with metallic purple glitters, and matte black/neon purple/neon green/magenta glitters in circular and hexagonal shapes in various sizes. I used 2 medium coats for my swatches, but if you use thinner ones, you may need a third. This one dries with lots of texture, so I definitely recommend a glitter-smoothing topcoat.

Noodles Nail Polish Hollaback Ghoul 1 coat (thumb, index, and thumb) over 2 coats Zoya Heidi
Noodles Nail Polish Hollaback Ghoul (ring and pinkie) 3 coats only

And the second polish from the set is Hollaback Ghoul which is a scattered holo topper with color shifting flakes, metallic purple glitters, and matte purple/magenta/black/neon green glitters in circular and hexagonal shapes. I love now the neon green circular glitter is found in both of these polishes! This one can be used alone in 3 coats (with just a little visible nail line showing), or as a topper for any of your ghoulish shades. Again, this one dries with texture with all the glitter and flakes, but it's totally worth it!

Reminder, these release on Saturday and not Friday, so set your alarms. I honestly don't have a favorite as I love both of them. You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group

Polish Pickup October 2024 Natural Phenomenon with Noodles Nail Polish Snow Halo

 *press sample*

Hello hello! It's going to be a busy Noodles Nail Polish week as I will be sharing the Halloween duo later this week. I just got home from Dallas yesterday for work and I am so exhausted. Oh, and my parents went on a camping vacation and somehow got Covid! The worst of it is over, but they are still recovering day by day.

Tonight I've got the Noodles Nail Polish Polish Pickup shade to share with you. This month's inspiration is Natural Phenomenon, and after a quick look at this month's offerings, there are so many purples! Like, a lot. The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET Friday, October 4th and ends on Monday, October 7th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which can happen, but you have to be in the Facebook group for the notification) on the PPU website.

Noodles Nail Polish Snow Halo 1 coat (thumb, index, and thumb) over 2 coats Zoya Sia
Noodles Nail Polish Snow Halo (ring and pinkie) 3 coats only
Inspiration: a photo of a sun halo above a snowy forest
Price: $12
Bottle Limit: 200

We've got a glitter topper that can also be used as a regular nail polish in 3 coats! Snow Halo is a clear-based topper with white matte glitters, metallic light blue, orange/green iridescent glitter in a variety of hexagonal sizes, and a touch of red/copper/green shimmer finish. I've applied this over a vibrant blue, but I could see this working well with a variety of base colors. This one dries with lots of texture due to the glitter, so I recommend a glitter-smoothing topcoat for a glass-like finish.

Don't forget, this one does have a bottle limit, so if you're interested, don't wait too long to purchase. You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group

Noodles Nail Polish Fall 2024 Collection Swatches and Reviews

 *press samples*

Hi everyone! I need to apologize for the lack of posts lately. In mid-August we had to put our 19-year-old cat, Mr. Nose, down. It was devastating. We just lost our Clipsy cat at Christmas, so we are still raw from that. And honestly, September has been a blur so far. With the sad news out of the way, I have much more exciting things to share with you tonight. You all know Noodles Nail Polish's fall collections have always been a favorite of mine. Natalie really captures that fall feeling with her crellies. Tonight I've got swatches of the 6-piece collection that will be released this Saturday, September 21st at 5 PM EST on the Noodles website. Each polish will retail for just $10.50 each. Swatch time!

Happy 4th of July to my American readers! There's nothing like a nice Spring Collection to show during the summer. Oops, I'm a little late on this one. Polish Pickup June 2024 Cartoons Noodles Nail Polish Use Your Noodle

 *press sample*

Hello hello! I hope your week is going well. It's going to be a long work week as I have to work about 10 days in a row for a pen show. Luckily I don't have to travel for this one. Polish Pickup starts a little late this month, but this is the last one before the July Rewind where a previous month's polish is re-released based on demand (and ability for the brand to procure the ingredients needed).

This month's theme is Cartoons and I'm so excited! I'm super old school and watched Looney Tunes as a kid, and I'm still watching cartoons to this day. The inspiration for this month is pretty much endless. Wish listing is already available, so get that cart ready!

The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET Friday, June 7th and ends on Monday, June 10th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which can happen, but you have to be in the Facebook group for the notification) on the PPU website.

Noodles Nail Polish Use Your Noodle (2 coats with 1 coat of glitter-smoothing topcoat and a coat of QDTC)
Inspiration: PB&J Otter
Price: $12
Bottle Limit: 200 bottles

I'm not gonna lie, I had to look up PB&J Otter. I'm not surprised I didn't remember it because I was a bit old for it (it debuted in 1998). That said, Use Your Noodle is a beautiful deep violet jelly base with violet/red/purple shifting flakes, and fuchsia/pink/magenta/purple hexagonal glitters. It's so squishy! Since it's a jelly, I expected it to need 3 coats, but I'm happy to report that 2 coats was plenty and it applied flawlessly. I did find it was easier to dab the first coat a bit to sort of place the glitter and flakes, and then use regular strokes for the second one. It does dry with lots of texture due to the flakes and glitter, so I recommend a glitter-smoothing topcoat followed by a layer of quick-dry topcoat for that glassy finish. If not, you're going to feel the polish on the nails and the polish may end up "eating" the topcoat a bit. I love it!

Don't forget, this one does have a bottle limit, so if you're interested, don't wait too long to purchase. You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group

Zoya Color of the Month May 2024: Paisley

 *press sample*

Zoya Paisley (2 coats)

Hi everyone! Tonight I've got the latest Zoya COTM, Paisley. This is available now for $12 through the Zoya website, and you can get free shipping and 25% off other items in your order with code PAISLEY.  The polish is a bright orchid purple creme that covers completely in just 2 easy coats. In the bottle, the polish looks a little streaky, but this didn't come out in the application at all. It does dry a bit satin because it's so bright, so you'll need a topcoat for a shiny finish. It's a super pretty color, and it's on my toes right now.

You can pick this up right now on the Zoya website (I just looked, and last month's shade Candy is still available as well). You can find out more about Zoya on their websiteFacebookTwitter, or Instagram pages. They often have sales, so check their social media pages periodically.
