Hello hello! How is it almost November?! Next week is Halloween, and somehow we haven't even bought candy yet. Oops! I hope people left a little for us to buy. Of course, like clockwork, it's supposed to rain on Tuesday. It seems like for the past 3 years it has rained on Halloween in NC. Anyway, we only have 2 more Polish Pickup store openings for this year.
This month's theme is Fairy Tales and Folklore which it seems like we've had before (I mean, PPU has been around for many years and popular themes are bound to be repeated). Ok, I just Googled it and apparently in November of 2019 the theme was also Fairy tales! The shop officially opens at 11:00 AM ET Friday, November 3rd and ends on Monday, November 6th at 11:59 PM (but if a polish has a bottle limit and sells out before the end of the pre-order, it's gone, unless you get lucky and the cap gets raised...which is rare) on the PPU website. Shall we get a closer look at Noodles Nail Polish shade for the month?
Inspiration: Taylor Swift's Folklore album hit, "Cardigan"
Price: $11.50
Bottle Limit: None
Do we have any Swifties in the house? I bet we have at least a few. I like Taylor Swift's songs, but I wouldn't really classify myself as a Swiftie. I mean, if you didn't have to sell an organ to get a concert ticket, I would totally go to a concert. Anyway, this month Natalie from Noodles Nail Polish was inspired by Taylor's popular song off of the Folklore album, Cardigan. It's a clear based glitter topper with mini star holo stars, matte white, metallic navy, silver holo, and blue/green iridescent glitters, holo micro flakes, and a touch of holo shimmer. Basically this one is choke full of silver holo bling with hints of navy. You know I'm a huge fan of star glitters, and this one has lots of them, and you really don't have to fish around for them in the bottle. You can definitely use this as a topper, but I just had to use this one on its own in 3 coats. It full covers the nail and is just a party to look at. Of course this dried with texture from all the glitter, so I definitely recommend a glitter smoothing topcoat to get a glass-like finish.
There you have it, folks. What do you plan on picking up this month? Start your wishlist now so you don't miss out on any capped items. You can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their website, Instagram page, Facebook page, and Facebook Fan Group.
