Hello hello! It's Monday yet again, but I'm super excited because my parents will be coming to visit this weekend! I don't get to see them often enough (they live out-of-state), so I appreciate any time we can spend together. Tonight I have 3 polishes from Naps and Nails for Hella Handmade Creations (HHC) which starts later this week. New to HHC? It works similarly to Polish Pickup where there's a pre-order for exclusive polishes with themes chosen by the brands participating. The pre-order opens every month on the 14th @ 12:01 am Eastern time and closes on the 21st @ 11:59 pm Hawaii time. During this time customers are able to shop all different brands within the shop and have everything ship from one location. This month Naps and Nails will continue their series on The Nun, Annabelle, and Conjuring Collection as well as having a special Halloween duo only available this month.
Shall we get a closer look at these shades?
Naps and Nails I Like Your Doll (2 coats)
Inspiration: The Nun, Annabelle, and Conjuring Collection
Price: $13
Bottle Limit: 100
Let's start with the normal September series polish which is I Like Your Doll which is a deep maroon base with pink and blue metallic flakes and a touch of a holo finish. It applied flawlessly in just 2 smooth coats, and it dried with no texture so only one coat of topcoat was needed. This is such a vampy shade, and I'm loving the mix of flakes in it.
Halloween Duo
Naps and Nails You're Brewtiful (2 coats, indoor lighting)
Naps and Nails You're Brewtiful (2 coats, outdoor lighting)
Price: $26 (sold only as a duo)
Bottle Limit: 100 bottles
The first polish of the duo is a solar one! Your Brewtiful is a grey crelly with a black glitter mix in indoor lighting that changes to a purple when in sunlight. The change is fast and very noticeable in person and I love it! I needed just 2 thin coats for full opacity, and surprisingly I didn't need a glitter smoothing topcoat as a simple topcoat did the job.
Naps and Nails Luminous Pumpkins (2 coats)
Price: $26 (sold only as a duo)
Bottle Limit: 100 bottles
Up next we have a black light reactive polish! I love these so much, but they are so hard to photograph! Luminous Pumpkins is a bright neon orange crelly with a sprinkling of purple hexagonal glitters. Again, like pretty much all Naps and Nails polishes, this needed just 2 coats for full coverage, and I didn't find that I needed a glitter smoothing topcoat with this one either. As you can see, it is quite reactive with a black light, so you better get ready for a 90s rave or some Cosmic Bowling.
Overall, what a great mix of shades here. Which ones are your favorites? The 14th is basically upon us, and you can check out the website now to make your wishlist. Lots of items have caps, so make a list so you don't miss out on your favorites.
