Zoya Spring 2021 Darling Collection Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi everyone! How is life going for you? Work will be kicking my butt this week, but I'll get through it. In May the business I work for will be moving to a brand new building custom built for us, and I'm super excited. My husband received his first vaccine dose a few weeks ago, my dad is fully vaccinated, and my mom gets her second shot tomorrow. Now everyone just has to wait for me. It appears I will be eligible in April and it can't get here sooner. Honestly, I've just been cruising through life waiting for a vaccine. Tonight I've got the latest Zoya collection to share with you, and it's a 6-piece set of cremes with bright pastels and dusty neutrals. These retail for $10 each (or $59 for the set) and they are available now. Don't forget, Earth Day is coming up, and Zoya is famous for their generous polish exchange. Shall we get a closer look?

Zoya Ella (2 coats)

Up first we have Ella which is a pretty true coral creme. Not too orange, not too pink. It applied easily in just 2 coats.

Zoya Joyce (3 coats)

Zoya Joyce is a vibrant watermelon pink creme shade. I expected to use 2 coats like the rest of the collection, but I felt like a third was needed for my bright lighting. If you use thicker coats or have shorter nails, you could likely get away with just 2.

Zoya Kayleigh (2 coats)

Kayleigh is the perfect example of a perfect spring color. It's a dusty light lilac purple creme that needed just 2 coats for full opacity. No streakiness or chalkiness in sight.

Zoya Mara (2 coats)

Mara, on the other hand, is a bit of a surprise for a spring collection. It's more of a rosey mauve creme that had full coverage in 2 pigmented coats. I'm warm-toned, but the pink in this one didn't clash with my skin.

Zoya Tweedy (2 coats)

If you only had one word to describe Tweedy, it would definitely be bubblegum. This is a bright pink that had a perfect formula in just 2 coats. Some pinks like these can be a bit patchy, but not Tweedy.

Zoya Val (2 coats)

Last, but certainly not least we have Val which is a light sky blue creme. Yet another perfect spring shade. I'm really happy with the amount of 2-coaters in this collection.

There you have it, folks! My top recommendations would be Val and Kayleigh, but that could be because I'm really feeling pastels right now. You can pick these up now, or wait and pick them up in April during the Earth Day exchange program. As soon as I have information on that, I will be posting it here. Zoya polishes retail for $10 and you can find out more about them on their websiteFacebookTwitter, or Instagram pages. Keep an eye out for them in your local Ulta store if you want to see the bottles in person before you buy.
