New Shades from Soothing Soul Nail Lacquer: September 2020 Swatches and Reviews

Hi folks! I hope your week has been going well. Can you believe it's the middle of September and Daylight Savings Time will be starting very soon. I hate driving to and from work in the dark 😞 Other than that, I've basically been going to work and staying home as much as possible. Very exciting stuff as we all know too well. Tonight I have 5 shades from Soothing Soul Nail Lacquer to share with you. These will be released this Friday, September 18th on their website for just $9.50 each. They are all different shimmer shades, but they're not part of any specific collection. Shall we get a better look at these beauties? 

Soothing Soul Nail Lacquer Aubergine (3 coats)

Purple lovers unite again! Up first we have Aubergine which is a deep Byzantium purple base with strong blue shimmer. There are minor brushstrokes with this one, and I used 3 thin coats for my photos. Most will get away with just 2, but I used a third due to bright lighting for photography. It dried quickly and with no texture which made it a breeze to remove, too. 

Soothing Soul Nail Lacquer Jade Dragon (3 coats)

Continuing on we have Jade Dragon which is a Persian green base with blue undertones and gold shimmer. It leans toward emerald, but isn't that dark. This one has some brushstrokes, so make sure to have a light hand on the last coat. The formula was smooth, and I used 3 thin coats for full opacity, but you'll only need 2 for your application. 

Soothing Soul Nail Lacquer Silk (3 coats)

Continuing on we have Silk which is a coppery rose gold shade with gold shimmer. This one reminds me of the inside of a seashell, but with shimmer. I found this one to have pretty visible brushstrokes, so be extra careful and have a light hand on your last coat. It had a perfect formula, and I used 3 thin coats (again, you'll need just 2). This one is a nice, neutral shade. 

Soothing Soul Nail Lacquer Tickled Pink (3 coats)

I was just talking today about how I have a soft spot for pink polishes. I know in the indie world, pinks are often seen as pedestrian, but I still love them. Tickled Pink is a watermelon pink shade with gold and pearl shimmer. This one would make a great pedicure shade, too. This one had the perfect formula, and I used 3 thin coats for full opacity. I'm a broken record, but you'll get away with just 2. The removal was easy, but you may get a few stray shimmers on your skin (if you're messy like me). 

Soothing Soul Nail Lacquer Tiger Eye (3 coats)

You all know my feelings on orange polishes, right? If you're new here, well, I absolutely love oranges! Tiger Eye is a bright tangerine orange with beautiful gold shimmer. Guess how many coats I used? Yup,  three, but you'd only need 2. It dried quickly and with no texture. I'm a big fan of this contrasting shimmer!
