Noodles Nail Polish Fall 2019 Collection Swatches and Reviews

*press samples*

Hi guys! Apparently fall is in the air, but you'd never guess it from the hot days we've been having in NC. Yeah, nothing feels less like fall than 90 degree days. That said, new fall polish collections can really set the mood! Fall is Natalie from Noodles Nail Polish's favorite season, and it really shows. She has a little bit of everything for this collection: glitter toppers, flakies, holo, and glitter crellies (oh my!). Most collections consist of 6 polishes, but she went ahead and sneaked a 7th one in there just for us.

When: Friday, September 13th at 5 PM EST
Price: $9.50

This is an extremely picture-heavy post, so you may want to give it a little time to completely load. Without further ado, let's get to some swatches!

Best Techniques for Removing Glitter

Noodles Nail Polish are very glitter-heavy polishes, so I thought I'd mention the best techniques to remove glitter. Since they all contain glitter, so they will dry with some texture, so I recommend at least 1 coat of topcoat. If you are especially sensitive to feeling your polish, make sure your topcoat is a thick one, or apply a second coat of a thinner one. I use peel-off basecoats to make removal a breeze. I recommend UNT Ready for Take Off, or Hit the Bottle Keepin' it Peel as they both work well (I am not affiliated with either site or brand...I'm just sharing the love). The UNT works better for my body chemistry as the Hit the Bottle will sometimes pop off during the day. If you want your polish to last a little longer, I completely understand. In that case, the foil method will work best for you when you're ready for a change. Clips like these are cheap and great for keeping the cotton balls in place. I hope this helps, and feel free to email me or leave a comment with any questions you may have.

Noodles Nail Polish Don't Stop Be-Leafin (3 coats)

Don't stop Be-Leafin is the epitome of Natalie's amazing ability to combine colors. It's definitely fall, with a bit of mint chocolate chip thrown in there. I see that what I thought was mint-colored glitters is actually aqua blue, but I'll stick with the mint-chocolate chip theme. Anyway, Don't Stop Be-Leafin is a chocolate brown crelly base with gold, brown, and aqua glitter with bronze shimmer. I went ahead and used 3 really thin coats for my photos, but you can get away with 2 if you use thicker coats, or have shorter nails. It applied well, but you'll need to use some elbow grease for removal if you don't use a peel-off basecoat.

Noodles Nail Polish Fall-en For You (2 coats)

Up next is the first of my several top picks from the collection. Fall-en For You is that perfect mix of flakies and glitter with a beautiful dusty green color. It's a sage green crelly base with green, bronze, and gold glitters, UCC flakes, and green shimmer. It had a great formula, and only needed 2 healthy coats for full opacity. It dries with some texture from the glitter, and will need some soaking with acetone if you don't use a peel-off basecoat.

Noodles Nail Polish Mums the Word (3 coats)

We don't have a stark white crelly in this set, but Natalie gave us a cream-colored one. I mean, how fall-appropriate! Mum's the Word is a cream crelly with garnet, rose, lavender, and orange glitters. I'll be honest, that lavender glitter in there just won me over and made this another top pick. I used 3 thin coats for my photos, but you may be able to get away with 2 if you're heavy-handed or have short nails. It will have texture when dry, so you may need a second coat of topcoat to smooth it all out, but it's so worth it!

Noodles Nail Polish Oh My Gourd (2 coats)

Oh My Gourd is a steely blue/grey crelly base with lots of copper glitters/shimmer/microflakes and a holo finish. Yay, a holo polish! The copper color really comes out to play, especially in low light. I found it to have less glitter than some of the others, so it was slightly less textured and easier to remove. And yes, another 2-coater here, and who doesn't like that?

Noodles Nail Polish Pumpkin to Talk About (2 coats)

Natalie made an orange for fall!!! You know this is my #1 pick. Pumpkin to Talk About is a rusty orange crelly base with orange/gold shimmer, bronze microflakes, and gold holo glitter. My camera kept wanting to brighten this one up, so definitely keep in mind that this is going to be a little closer to the bottle color (I think the first photo may be the best representation). This one screams fall, sweaters, and pumpkin spice lattes all day. This one was very opaque and needed just 2 coats to full cover any visible nail line. It dried with texture and a little dull, so make sure to use a thicker topcoat with this one.

Noodles Nail Polish Spice, Spice, Baby (2 coats)

Up next is Spice, Spice, Baby (LOVE the names of these) which is a light plum crelly with lots of gold/orange/caramel glitter and orange shimmer. This is another color combo I wouldn't have put together, but it just works! The orange shimmer and glitter really stands out, but the gold/caramel glitter adds the perfect amount of depth to the polish. I was able to get away with 2 coats with this one, but it will dry with texture from the glitters.

Noodles Nail Polish Whose Cider You On? (3 coats)

And last, but certainly not least is Whose Cider You On? which is your clear glitter topper from the collection. You guys know I always try to build these up to full opacity, and I mostly achieved that here. If you want to see it over other polishes, check out JodisPolish or PamperedPolishes videos for that. It has caramel, bronze, lavender, garnet, rose, and orange hexagonal glitters in a clear base. This would look perfect over a variety of different colors both dark or light and you'd just need one coat if using it that way. If you want to go full glitter, I recommend dabbing the polish on rather than doing full strokes. I didn't do so, but using gradient sponges would also be perfect to make a more opaque look. I may end up wearing this one for Thanksgiving.

There you have it, folks! This is a quintessential fall collection if I've ever seen one. My top recommendations are Pumpkin to Talk About, Mums the Word, and Fall-en For You. If you are a crelly fan, then this collection is for you. Again, these will be available for $9.50 each this Friday at 5 PM EST on the Noodles websiteYou can find out more about Noodles Nail Polish on their websiteInstagram pageFacebook page, and Facebook Fan Group.

Definitely not my colors. What do you think, it's your camera which changes colors or these are true colors od the nail polishes? Where they nice to wear on your hands?
