Morgan Taylor Fall 2017 Matadora Collection Swatches and Reviews Part I

*press samples*

Hi guys! Sorry I've been a bit absent, but I took a few days off to visit with my parents. My dad came down with something on Saturday, so we spent all of Sunday on the couch watching Stranger Things 2. I could definitely think of worse things to do. Did you binge watch it this weekend? Tonight I have the Morgan Taylor Matadora collection to show you, and it features vampy colors inspired by Spain. To be honest, I think the killing of bulls for sport is disgusting, so I'm going to try and ignore the killing part, and focus on the culture. I'd love to hear what you think about this. That said, let's get to some swatches.

Morgan Taylor All Tango-d Up (2 coats)

Up first we have All Tango-d Up which is a deep burgundy creme. If you're looking for a vampy color for this fall, look no further. It dries a shade darker than the bottle color, but also dries with a shiny finish. I've said it for years, but the Morgan Taylor brush is too big for my nails and I always have a problem applying polish around my cuticles. If you find a nail that looks wonky, it's likely because of my inability to handle that brush. This is 2 easy coats.

Morgan Taylor Danced And Sang-ria (2 coats)

Whoa, Danced And Sang-ria is insanely darker. In certain light you may confuse it for black, but it's definitely a blackened plum creme. I got a little on my cuticle and it was a pain to remove with my clean-up brush, so be careful with removal. I think these colors look better on shorter nails, so I'll keep this close when I get a nail break. The formula was great, and I only needed 2 coats for the photos above.

Morgan Taylor Don't Break My Corazon (2 coats)

On first glance, Don't Break My Corazon may look like your normal red creme, but the hints of orange and pink in there makes it super unique and one of my top picks for the collection. You know my feelings on red polishes, so that's really saying something! It's bright without being neon, and will be sure to brighten your day. This is 2 easy coats, and I didn't have any problems with removal or staining with this one.

If gel polishes are more your style, then you'll be happy to know that this collection is also available in the mini Gelish bottles. These retail for $9 each and can be found on the Loxa Beauty website now. Learn more about Morgan Taylor on their FacebookInstagramTwitter, or Youtube sites.
