Hi guys! TGIF! Tonight I have 2 polishes from the second upcoming Sally Hansen Collection called Romantic Rendezvous. These collections were inspired by the travels and adventures of Sally Hansen Global Color Ambassador, Madeline Poole. Wouldn't that be an amazing job? Where do I sign up? This collection also features 7 polishes, so you have a total of 14 new ones to choose from. Shall we get started?
Up first is Orchid-ing Aside which is an orchid/lilac creme. It gives me a bit of lobster hands, but that's because this is a cool color and I have very warm undertones. Clashing aside, I really love this one. As soon as I showed my husband, and without any probing, he said this reminded him of the orchid he is growing. The first coat was a bit streaky so I went ahead and used 3 coats to get everything to even out.
Sally Hansen Shhhh-immer (3 coats)
I must tell you that you need Shhhh-immer in your life (well, literally and figuratively). I'm not a huge fan of the spelling of this one, but that's because I feel like people will just spell it wrong, you know? It's a peach/copper base with loads of pink and gold shimmer. It's not quite a duochrome, but it does slightly flash pink or gold based on your angle. It's a bit sheer, so you can either put a layer over a nude base, or use 3 coats like I did above for the swatches. You need this one.
