Hi guys! I love when the week flies by due to 4-day weeks! The downside is that I have to work all weekend now. At least this is the last weekend I have to work until August. Tonight I am going to disappoint everyone because the polishes I'm showing were only available at The Indie Shop: Atlanta event (and maybe for a short time on their website). If you weren't able to make it to Atlanta, the Indie Shop will be rotating to different cities, so keep your eye out for that. Can you believe these are the first Colors by Llarowe (CbL) polishes on the blog? I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Colors by Llarowe Guardian of the Forest (3 coats)
Up first we have Guardian of the Forest (the theme for the Indie Shop event was Enchanted Forest) which is a green jelly base with holo flakes and a scattered holo glitter finish. The green leans a bit blue, so maybe you want to call it more teal? It's up to you. I could have easily gotten away with 2 coats, but I liked the added dimension and depth a third coat added. I was worried the formula may get a bit thick, but it was perfectly smooth throughout the application. Winner winner chicken dinner.
Color by Llarowe Once Upon a Time (3 coats)
Once Upon a Time is another gorgeous color with the same finish, but this time it's a light pink with purple and gold shimmer. Do you think this color clashes with my skintone? I'm definitely warm-toned, so this cool pink may not mesh well with my coloring, but I'm not going to hold that against the polish. The pigmentation is definitely lighter in this one, so you'll likely need 3 coats unless you have really short nails. Again, the formula was just perfect with this one.
I'm so sorry this is now sold out on the CbL website! If you're interested in limited edition polishes, make sure to join some Facebook Destash Groups (I recommend Nearly No Rules, but there are a ton of others out there). You never know what you can find for (sometimes) a great price! Find out more about Leah Ann and CbL on their website, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Pages.
