Hi guys! It's been a whole week since I've been able to blog, but I was again traveling for work (this time I was in Chicago). I was insanely busy the whole time I was gone, hence no blog post. Tonight I have the final Julie G set which is $10 for the trio on the Jesse's Girl website. While perusing the site I also noticed that they added a Unicorn Collection. A UNICORN COLLECTION! Shall we see how this last set stacks up? Go ahead and hit that "Read More" button for my thoughts.
Julie G Cabana Boy (2 coats)
Cabana Boy is a bright nautical blue crème. It reminds me of something Essie would put out for their summer collection for a fraction of the price. It's not a neon (and doesn't dry down to that satin finish), but is still the perfect summer color. The formula was a breeze in just 2 coats.
Julie G Fierce & Fabulous (2 coats)
Normal purples are hard to photograph, so you can just imagine how hard it was to capture Fierce & Fabulous. It's a neon purple crème with pink undertones which dries to a satin finish. I recommend a good topcoat for longevity (and personal preference). Shown is 2 thick coats.
Julie G OH EM GEE (2 coats)
OH EM GEE indeed! It's a retina-searing neon pink crème. This is not for the faint-of-heart. I think this will be on my toes all summer to really make a statement. It will dry to a satin finish, so go ahead and add that topcoat (or not...you do you).
Is this my favorite set? I dunno! It's so hard to decide! These sets are a steal, so I would recommend you pick up 1 or 2. Oh, and maybe the Unicorn Collection. Don't forget, these trios are $10 and are only available on the Jesse's Girl website. These colors aren't limited edition, but the special pricing for the trios will last through May. If you want to see these in person, stop by your local Rite-Aid store. Stay up-to-date on all things Jesse's Girl on their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages.
