Turtle Tootsie Polishes Chocolate Chip Mint (3 coats)
Hi guys! Unfortunately I didn't have the time tonight to do the post I originally planned on doing, but at least I'm able to do something. The Ice Cream Makes Everything Better (so true, right?) collection from Turtle Tootsie Polishes was released during The Indie Shop and I was able to snag Chocolate Chip Mint. To be honest, when I saw the polish sitting there on the rack I thought it looked like kelp. That may sound like an insult, but it's what drew me in and it's so interesting!
Chocolate Chip Mint is a light mint crelly with matte black flakes, chameleon flakies, and a holo finish. I didn't get a chance to take a picture in direct daylight LED lighting so the holo finish is a bit muted in my photos above. I really love this one, and I know for a fact that I don't have anything like it in my collection. I used 3 thin coats for the photos above to add some dimension and depth to the flakes. The formula was perfect; you just need to make sure that the flakes don't extend over the nail.
