Polished for Days Positive Vibes Collection Swatches and Review: Elysian, Kalon, and Meraki
Hi guys! I'm finally getting back to normal after the holidays. I hope those of you with an extended weekend had a great one and bought all of the polishes on sale! I bought a lot, but with no regrets. I will probably add some pictures on Instagram as soon as they start piling in. Now I guess it's finally time to start Christmas shopping for real. Oh, and today's my dad's birthday, and I know he reads my blog so HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD! Tonight I'm going to continue the Polished for Days Full Positive Vibes Collection with 3 more polishes. Follow me after the break for swatches and my thoughts.

Polished for Days Full Positive Vibes Collection Swatches and Review: Eunoia
Polished for Days Eunoia (3 coats)
Hi guys! Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! I probably won't be posting tomorrow, so I hope my American readers have a fun and safe holiday. Tonight I'll be starting the Polished for Days Full Positive Vibes Collection which features 7 colors and 1 holo topper. Up first is Eunoia which is a new word for me. Apparently it means, "the goodwill a speaker cultivates with his or her audience." I had to give a science talk at that conference I was at in Phoenix a couple weeks ago, but I'm not so sure I had any eunoia.
The polish is a white crelly with tons of ultrachrome flakes and violet shimmer. I can see how some may not love this one, but I think it is absolutely gorgeous! Those flakes! The shimmer is more pronounced in person, but you can see it in the bottle in the photos above. The first 2 coats were fairly sheer, but it built up to full coverage on the third.
Polished for Days is having a Black Friday sale where all polishes except for the Vintage Christmas Collection (which will be $1 off each color) will be 30% off with the code pfdblackfriday. I very well may need to pick up a few I don't already own.

Fair Maiden Polish 2016 Feline Catty Collection Swatches and Review: Lucifer, Nala, and Si & Am
Hi guys! We're finally finishing up the Fair Maiden Feline Catty Collection tonight. Doesn't it seem like I've been reviewing this collection forever? I loved the collection, but with my recent blog break it seems like forever. Shall we go ahead and get started?
Fair Maiden Polish Lucifer (3 coats)
Lucifer the polish is inspired by the cat in Cinderella. The polish is a blackened base with strong flashes of teal and purple shimmer. It's so shimmery! If you look at the bottom picture you can really see the fine multichrome flakes in there as well. You could probably get away with 2 coats, but I wanted a bit more depth, so I used 3 easy coats.
Fair Maiden Polish Nala (2 coats) (diffused LED daylight)
Fair Maiden Polish Nala (2 coats) (direct LED daylight to show holo effect)
To be honest, the whole reason why I bought this collection is for Nala. There's just something about the contrasting turquoise glitter and shimmer with this brownish/nude holo finish that called to me! The formula was perfect in just 2 coats.
Fair Maiden Polish Si & Am (2 coats)
Last but not least we have Si & Am which is named for those weird Siamese cats from Lady and the Tramp. You know, those cats. The polish is a beautiful medium blue holographic polish. Love it! Pictures show 2 simple coats.
The collection is still available now and the polishes cost between $9 and $10. Also, between 11/25-11/28 Fair Maiden will have $5 door busters, free shipping with $50 spent, and a free polish with the purchase of their Winter Collection. If you want to stay up-to-date on all things Fair Maiden Polish, you can follow them on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

Fair Maiden Polish 2016 Feline Catty Collection Swatches and Review: Dinah and Duchess
Hi guys, TGIF! It's late, but I wasn't going to let you down again by missing another day of blogging. I usually come home from work on Fridays and take a nap with my husband. Do we usually sleep too long? Of course, but that's great thing about having animals and no kids. Tonight we are continuing the Feline Catty collection, and I hope you enjoy them. I have swatches from the Zoya Winter collection, Paint Box Polish, or Polished for Days I could show next week. Leave me a comment and let me know what you'd prefer first.
Fair Maiden Polish Dinah (2 coats)
The polish Dinah is inspired by the cat from Alice in Wonderland. I wasn't a big follower of Alice in Wonderland when I was a kid (or any of the other versions that have come out) so I don't remember Dinah. It's a cute cat though, right?
Dinah the polish is a hot pink color with a strong purple and turquoise shimmer. You can really see the shimmer in the bottle on the second picture, but it's really apparent on the nail in real life. I love pink polishes, and I love shimmers, so I think you know how I feel about this one. It was very opaque and applied well in just 2 coats.
Fair Maiden Polish Duchess (2 coats)
Dutchess is the cat from the Aristocats which I don't remember anything about. My husband said he liked the movie as a kid and remembers Dutchess. Do you notice a theme here? Yeah, I need to watch some Disney movies over the Holiday break. If you're like me and don't remember Dutchess, here she is:
Very dainty and elegant! The polish is a purple scattered holo with microshimmer and flakes, and silver holo particles. Despite the chunkier look to this polish, it wasn't really textured and only needed 1 coat of topcoat. The formula was great and needed just 2 coats for full coverage.
The collection is still available now and the polishes cost between $9 and $10. Also, between 11/25-11/28 Fair Maiden will have $5 door busters, free shipping with $50 spent, and a free polish with the purchase of their Winter Collection. Fair Maiden Polish 2016 Feline Catty Collection Swatches and Review: Rajah
Fair Maiden Polish Rajah (2 coats)
I'm back! I know it was an extended hiatus with no warning, but the real world caught up with me again. I was in Phoenix most of last week and then I got sick as soon as I got home (figures, right?). As much as I needed a break from the blog, I still had that gut feeling telling me that I really needed to post something. The weather in Phoenix right now is amazing! Can you image 4 days straight with not a single cloud in the sky and a temperature of 88 (which felt more like 80)? There's a big difference between 88 in NC and 88 in Phoenix! Anyway, I still have a ton of things in the mix, but I guess I should just go ahead and finish what I started from Fair Maiden Polish.
To refresh your memory, I bought the mini set of the Feline Catty Collection which is inspired by Disney cats. I'm happy to report that I do in fact remember Rajah from Aladdin. In case you're not familiar, here is a picture:
Cutie, right? Anyway, the Fair Maiden polish is a neon melon orange with blue and violet shimmer and gold microglitter. The glitter isn't too chunky, so just 1 coat of topcoat will do the trick. My photos really just don't do this polish justice because it basically glows with the amount of shimmer in here. The formula was slightly thick, but not enough to be a bother (or make me get the thinner out). If you are an orange polish lover like I am, you need to join the Facebook group Orange You Glad to Be Here which is strictly for orange polishes.

Fair Maiden Polish 2016 Feline Catty Collection Swatches and Review: Scar
Fair Maiden Scar (2 coats)
Hi guys! It's been too long! I was trying to blog last night, but our internet was being super slow. Instead of being frustrated for hours, I decided to just wait it out until tonight. Speaking of tonight, it's my 9-year wedding anniversary! Time flies and all of that, and I don't know what I'd do without Mr. Right on the Nail. I'd like to go ahead and continue on with my Fair Maiden polishes with the Feline Catty collection which is inspired by Disney movie cats. I love cats and I love Disney movies, but do I really remember that many Disney cats? We shall see...
Up first is Scar, which is a neon green with pink/red to purple/blue shimmer. So shimmertastic! The shimmer is definitely front and center with this one. Anyone know what Scar is named after? Nope, I had no clue and had to look it up. Apparently he's the bad guy from The Lion King:
Oh, that's right, I sort of remember The Lion King. I used 2 coats for the photos above, but the formula was slightly thick so make sure to wait an extra minute between coats. I really enjoy this one!
I bought the whole collection in mini bottles which retails for $36.90 and is still available now. If you want to stay up-to-date on all things Fair Maiden Polish, you can follow them on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
