Hi guys! TGIF! No Nibs & Nails tonight, but you still have about an hour before the giveaway for the Anonymous Lacquer polish from last week ends. Good luck! I've shown several polishes from the brand LeChat in the past, and tonight I have 2 of the colors from the Iced Collection. This set features 3 glitter topcoats, 2 cremes, and 1 metallic polish. They are available as gel or regular nail polishes, and each nail polish collection usually comes as a set of 6 in mini bottles. You can get these mini polish collections at your local nail supply store or at online e-tailers such as Transdesign (all 6 will only set you back $4.95). Without further ado, let's do this.
LeChat Precious Ice (2 coats)
Up first is Precious Ice which is a cool pink creme (maybe with hints of lilac). It's nothing ground-breaking, but I think it makes a great base for the 3 glitters in the collection. Like any pastel pink like this, it was a bit streaky, but fully covered in 2 coats.
LeChat Ice Princess (1 coat over 2 coats Precious Ice)
I feel like I haven't used a glitter topper like this in a few months at the very least. Ice Princess is a glitter dense polish with pink microglitter, larger silver holographic hexagonal glitters, and blue and pink shimmer. I love it! I think this one is worth the $4.95 by itself. The formula was a bit thick (in a good way), but you'll definitely just need 1 coat for adequate glitter. You may be able to get away with using this by itself, but you'll need at least 3 coats and it may be hard to apply with the thicker formula.
If you are already purchasing from Transdesign, I definitely recommend picking up this mini collection. Mini bottles can be hard to work with sometimes, but I'm happy to report that these are pretty awesome and have 7.4 mL in each. You can learn more about LeChat on their Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram pages.
