Hi guys! The week is flying by, right? And I can't tell you how excited I am about the long weekend with Memorial Day coming up. Oh, and I still haven't seen who won Dancing With the Stars, but so far I haven't been spoiled. Tonight I'll be finishing up the Seashells Collection, and next week will feature the Sunsets (cremes) Collection. Follow me after the break for more pictures and my thoughts!
Zoya Linds (3 coats)
Up first is Linds which is a cherry red base with red and gold shimmer/glitter. It's a beautiful polish and very vibrant, but also reminds me a little of other PixieDusts released by Zoya. No, there are no dupes so don't worry about that. Overall I'd say that Zoya Chyna is the closest to Linds (Chyna is a deeper red and has red shimmer for texture). One thing that sets Linds apart from all the others is the gold shimmer. I used 3 easy coats for the pictures above, but you may get away with 2 with thicker coats.
Zoya Tilly (3 coats)
I may be biased, but I'd say Tilly is the star of the collection. Just look at how it appears matte, but also somehow shines brightly! It's a silver base with deeper charcoal grey and holographic glitter. You can easily see that the glitter in this one is chunkier than all the polishes shown thus far. This is also the only polish in the collection with silver shimmer. Again, 3 easy coats are shown above.
Zoya Zooey (3 coats)
Lastly, we have Zooey. I'm sure you notice the same larger holographic glitter like that found in Tilly. It's a pink base that leans coral with strong gold shimmer. Oh, and the hexagonal holographic glitter. I think Zooey and Tilly are neck-and-neck for the most bling. You're either going to love or hate having the larger glitter in here. I don't tend to mind it (so I guess I'm going against the "love it or hate it" statement). Three easy coats were again used for the manicure.
So there you have it! What do you think? Will you be purchasing any of these? I've been a fan of PixieDusts since the beginning, so I think these are a fun addition for summer. My top recommendations would be Tilly and Cece. These retail for $10 and you can find out more about them on their website, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram pages. I'm not sure if they're at Ulta just yet, but keep your eye out for them at your local store.
