Hi guys! I've been a fan of Barielle polishes for many years and tonight I have something brand new to share with you. They have a new line of polishes infused with ProSina which is a a specialized type of keratin with polypeptides that help strengthen, condition, and protect the nails. You may remember my posts from the brand Dermelect who also utilize ProSina. While I enjoyed those polishes, they also happen to be $14 each. Eep! All 0.45 fl oz Signature Barielle polishes retail for only $9. I should also mention that the Signature polishes have a new rounded bottle that hold the same amount as the Shades polishes. Now we have all of that information out of the way, how about we get to some swatches to see if they apply normally?
Barielle Going to the Chapel (2 coats)
Barielle Midnight in Paris (2 coats)
Midnight in Paris is a deep blue shimmer that has flashes of purple in the bottle (but not the nail, unfortunately). It was pretty much a one-coater, but I used 2 for good measure. I can't even describe how well this applied. You will need to be careful of removal if you use acetone because it wants to stain the cuticles and skin around the nails. I had no problems with it staining my nail beds, but I used a good basecoat.
Overall, I am really impressed with these polishes. I tend to change my polishes often, so I think the addition of ProSina would be best for those who leave their polishes on for a few days. Again, these retail for $9 on their website, but check the sales or free shipping offers on their Facebook page, Twitter, or Instagram pages.
