Sally Hansen Minted Metal (2 coats)
Minted Metal is a mint green chrome. I really liked this and think it is the most unique chrome of the collection.
Sally Hansen Purple Alloy (2 coats)
Yup, another purple chrome. Doesn't it feel like there's been a lot of pinks and purples here? I really wish there was more of a variety.
Sally Hansen Titanium Flush (2 coats)
Proof in point; we have another pink. It's more of a rosy pink chrome. Overall, we have 2 purples and 2 pinks out of the collection. I just realized that I don't have the color Liquid Gold which is another gold. Ok, we have 2 purples, 2 pinks and 2 golds in a 10 piece collection. A little more variety, please?
*semi-repost of application and formula with a few new additions*
So I received the brand new Color Foil Collection and I was so excited to try them out....that is, until I tried applying them. I'm sure you've all heard by now, you really have to have perfect nails for this to look good. Unfortunately, I don't have perfect nails, as you can see above. I tried using several basecoats and let them dry completely before applying polish, but it would always clump up the polish. I didn't want to buff my nails because I need them to be as strong as possible with all the acetone I use on them (most of you probably don't have this problem and this will likely help you). You also can't use a topcoat, but that is no issue at all since they dry extremely fast. They are all very pigmented, and you could likely get away with just 1 coat, but I wanted to try and cover my ridges, so I used 2 for all swatches. Make sure to shake these like a Polaroid picture before applying since the pigments can settle. These also work very well for stamping, so you nail artists out there will love these! The bottles actually have a plastic covering over the glass, but the covering color is extremely close to the color in the bottle. I sort of think it looks a little cheap, but that's just my opinion. Overall, I'm torn on these. If you don't look closely at my nails (like you guys are-eek!), then it looks really cool, but I feel that my swatches are terrible. What do you think?
You can find these at your local drugstores or Target for ~6.99-$7.99. For more information on what's going on at Sally Hansen, stop by their Facebook or Twitter pages.

LOL... Shake it like a Polaroid picture. You are dating yourself with that.
