Barielle Summer 2014 Keys Collection Swatches and Reviews: Barefoot in Bermuda, Hawaiian Sunset and Miami Heat

*press samples*

BarielleBarefoot in Bermuda (2 coats)

Barefoot in Paradise is a bright pink creme. It's a popular color for the fingers and toes any time of year. I'll talk more about this polish in tomorrow's post. It was really opaque in 2 coats. The formula was a bit thin like most of these, but nothing you can't handle. I find that over time Barielle polishes tend to thicken up, so I was surprised how thin these were (again, in a good way).

Barielle Hawaiian Sunset (2 coats)

Hawaiian Sunset is hands down my favorite of the collection. If you're just going to get 1, get this one. It's a bright orange with tons of gold shimmer. I received many compliments on it, and have been wearing it on my toes for the past few weeks. This was also thin, but opaque in 2 coats.

Barielle Miami Heat (2 coats)

And then there's Miami Heat. You know my feelings on reds, but since a lot of these colors remind me of a sunset, I think this color was needed in the collection. I'm pretty sure some of you nail artists could so some pretty cool things with these colors. Anyway, Miami Heat is a red jelly. You can tell it's a jelly by the color in the bottle. Despite being a jelly, it was quite opaque, and I only used 2 coats. You can still see VNL, but that's due to my long nails and the bright light. You couldn't actually see it in real life; I save that visible nail line for my lovely readers to see ;-)

Barielle polishes can be found on their website or e-tailers like Transdesign. They often have sales or free shipping, so keep an eye on their Facebook page or Twitter. For example, right now they are offering a 50% off sale with the code SHADE50 through tomorrow.
