Everyone watching the Oscars tonight? I don't get as excited as I used to back in the day. What are your feelings on them as you get older? Oh, and I really don't want to go to work this week. I have so many appointments and meetings to go to that I am just dreading it. I hope your week starts out well.
The final 2 polishes I have to show from Ruby White Tips are Lana Winters and The Aliens. Up first is Lana Winters which is an....interesting polish. When I sat down to try and figure out what color it truly was, it was hard to come up with a good description. It's a multichrome of gold, taupe and pink, but I don't think that really gives it justice. Either way, it's really a cool polish. Again, there was a slightly thick application that can easily be dealt with by using thin coats. I ended up using 3 coats, and I know you can see VNL on my ring finger, but that was just due to the lights (you couldn't see it in real life).
And then there was The Aliens. This one was the first one I picked out when I decided to make a purchase. It's a blood red jelly base with tons of gold glitter. You know red is my least favorite color, so the fact that this was my first choice really tells you something. I think what sets this apart is that the gold glitter really stands out against the red. The formula and application was really good on this one and only needed 2 coats.
