Is it just me, or does OPI have a weird way of picking polishes for their Soft Shades collections? Last year it was The Wizard of Oz and this year it is The Muppets-two collections I could find having fun, bright shades. Well, there are a couple brighter colors, one being Miss Piggy's Big Number which is a metallic sapphire blue shimmer, but still. You need to be a bit careful of brush strokes, but it's worse in pictures than in real life. Otherwise, the application and formula were fine with no staining that I can recollect. If you're going for rich colors, this one is the one to get, for sure. These retail for $9 at your local salon, Ulta, or JC Penny stores.
