OPI This Gown Needs a Crown (3 coats, no topcoat)
Did anyone notice that Diamond Cosmetics is private label only now? I just went looking for some cheap polishes and found that I couldn't buy anything. That's sad because they had some nice polishes.
The latest OPI polishes are the Miss Universe trio for which I have one to show you. I found this a perfect time to show it since Miss Venezuela was just crowned last night. By the way, what's the big difference between a matte and a satin finish? Is it just one is a shimmer and one is a creme? Anyway, they call this a textured satin polish, but I found it to be pretty smooth. The Gown Needs a Crown is a striking silver metallic satin polish that really stands out. It also comes with a cute ring which I forgot to show. All pictures I show above have no topcoat, but it still sort of glows, right? I really like it. The formula was fine, but it was pretty sheer, needing 3 coats for full opacity. The Mariah Carey Christmas collection is out now (too many reds for my liking, but you know me), and then I believe the Carrie Underwood collection comes out in January *correction, this is a Nicole by OPI collection*. Despite there being several pinks, a lot of buzz has been created around this collection.
