Color Club Wish Upon a Rock Star (2 coats) over 3 coats SinfulColors Out of This World
Guess who's going to see Van Halen in April? This girl! I was a big fan growing up, and I've always liked David Lee Roth Van Halen better than Sammy Hagar Van Halen. Man, maybe I just haven't been to concerts in awhile, but tickets are crazy expensive! I think the worst part is the extra "fees" that are tacked on there. Oh well, I'm still excited! Let's see if they can make it that long without breaking up again.
Remember when I posted SinfulColors Out of this World a couple days ago? Well, A Polished Touched made a helpful comment about how well it is as a layering polish over other colors. I haven't tried it yet, but I think she's totally right. I decided to use Color Club's Wish Upon a Rock Star to cover up the nail lines using it as a gradient. It is a multi-color hexagonal glitter polish with larger lavender glitter pieces that looks a lot like the other Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday dupes. It applied much better than the other Backstage Pass glitters so it has that going for it. It's not really unique, but it's still a fun glitter polish (that is still a pain to take off!).

Aw, so sweet mentioning the comment I left.
I absolutely ADORE how you layered glitter over the tip, it looks perfect. I cannot say how much I love this, I might have to re-create this and credit you - I love it that much! :) Don't forget to try it over navy, hehe.
You're welcome! You're nice for giving me the suggestion.
Feel free to recreate it! I can't wait to see it.
Yay for Van Halen in April! :-)
Even if it isn't super unique, I think this is a fun combo. It looks like you dipped your fingers in glitter.
Like your fade away into the base..and really love the shade you used for the base - clean yet fun. I am getting tired I have to say of all the many rainbow color glitters. I think 1-2 in anyone's collection is plenty. Often does not matter if it's cheap or expensive - just find one that works well for you - and for me that means it's not that big and crunchy - but smaller glitter pieces.
I'm loving the pairing, very pretty!
