OPI Smitten With Mittens (2 coats) under 1 coat of OPI Silver Shatter
I'm back in Knoxville for the 4th of July. I hope your weekend is off to a great start! I thought the OPI Silver Shatter deserved another try since I wasn't so happy the first time around. Do you guys remember Smitten With Mittens from the OPI Holiday Wishes collection from 2009? Even though it was red, I absolutely adored it! Unfortunately I'm sure it's hard to find now, but perhaps you can find it on Ebay or on the swaps page. Since I am a big Ohio State fan, I thought scarlet and grey would make a great combination and I must admit that I like the Silver Shatter much better this way. Like lots of others, I am sick of crackle polishes and I don't plan on buying any more. I can appreciate the ones I own already, but I won't be purchasing any new ones. Are you liking this combination? Are you still a fan of crackle polishes?

I'm still a fan of crackle, it's a good way to spice up a mani... I've only ever used my bottles four times all together though I think...
I just did my first crackle mani for the 4th. Pics coming soon...I think it's pretty neat!
Enjoy your 4th. :)
I like this duo!
I like this one...i wanted to use the silver over purple and didn't like the result.
Nice combo!
Say hey to K-town for me. :-)
I was slightly tempted by the silver crackle, but I am letting this trend pass me by. I do like your combo, it's very flattering. As an aside, am I the only one who thinks white crackle looks like dried sour cream on the nails?
Happy 4th!
Hi guys! Go Vols! I don't hate crackles, I just wish every single company didn't do the exact thing. For the Silver Shatter, I find that it only works well with certain polishes underneath. Thanks for coming to the blog and leaving comments!
I want a couple of the upcoming ChG metallics (the lilac, aqua and maybe the pink), but they'll be my only crackles.
