Rescue Beauty Lounge: Dead Calm

Rescue Beauty Lounge Dead Calm (2 coats)

Man, I've been so stressed and upset this week about not being able to find a job yet. For some reason you get it in your head that the more experience and education you have, the easier it will be to find a new job. But no, that's just delusional. I've been told not to worry about it,  but it's so hard not to. What's going to happen with the blog? Good question. I stop getting paid at the end of the month, so I'm not really going to have much spending money from now on. I will be doing what I can to continue the blog, but I don't know if I'll be able to keep up the pace I've been going for the past year and a half. In no way am I saying I'm giving up on the blog, but things may be changing. I hope you can understand. Ugh, now that the sad and depressing part is over with, let's get on with the post for today.

I love Rescue Beauty Lounge polishes, but I absolutely hate their price. The only time that I can afford their polishes is during their 50% off sale. I ended up getting Dead Calm which is an awesome dark royal blue creme that is actually darker in real life compared to my picture. The best part of RBL polishes? Their application, of course! I used 2 coats here, but honestly only 1 was needed and it was completely opaque. I hope you have a great weekend!

That polish is gorgeous. *sigh*

I hope that you have better luck with the job hunt, soon.

As far as your blog is concerned, just photograph and share manicures. I honestly don't think that every post has to be something new. I certainly don't only show new. If I did, I would rarely post. lol

Thanks, guys! I know, I shouldn't let it get me down, but it does.

Ice Queen, I know, I think I am going to start doing more comparisons as well. I've been meaning to do that forever. Other things I can try more of is nail art (which I'm not great at, but perhaps this will give me time to get better!).

Good luck on the job hunt. I'm in HR and some gurther education does help, like in your field - so keep your head up. Right now when we are hiring we are looking at experience and degrees and want to make sure we place the right person. Someone may take the job we have now, but if they are over qualified when things turn around they will leave us. So we try to stay away from those that seem over qualified if there are candidates that are perfectly qualified. Does that make sense? Anyway follow up, call and email once you apply - it actually does make a difference. Stay positive the right job will turn up!

Good luck with the job search! Looking for jobs is the absolute worst. I'm getting my masters at night because I'm terrified the if I leave the work force I'll have to go through all the pain of finding a job all over again like out of undergrad. Ugghh!

And I love Dead Calm -- one of my top 5 RBL polishes!

Sorry I'm so behind, I love the holiday season but oh my, what a time suck! I know from some of your other posts that you have a lot of polishes we haven't seen yet. I for one prefer to see some older polishes rather than all new, all the time.

Do some classics, do some of your favorites. I would love to see some bloggers showcase the polishes in their stashes that do get used more than once or twice. Show me the colors you bought back ups for (I only have four). Show me your top 5 most stunning, show me the ones you reach for when you just want something you love. Show me the polish you wear when you need np courage (mine is a combo of ChG Stroll and CND Hyde in the Dark). I don't always want new, sometimes I want most loved.
