Color Club Covered in Diamonds (2 coats) over China Glaze Rodeo Fanatic (2 coats)
Just got back from trivia where we got 4th place! That's actually better than we usually do, unfortunately. The Color Club Untamed Luxury Diamond Collection came out this fall and when I made my Transdesign order a few months ago, Covered in Diamonds was out of stock. So yes, this is why it is being reviewed so late. So...this is a weird topcoat for sure. It is a thick holographic flakie in a clear base. I dunno, it's sort of cool in a weird way, but there are a few drawbacks to it. First, the flakes are not very thin and you need to have a thick topcoat (and perhaps even a couple coats of it) so it doesn't snag on things. Second, you need to make sure that the polish you put it in top of is completely dry because the thick flakes will start to scrape into the base polish which isn't great either. Since it is not very dense I used two coats which is shown here. The application was fairly thick so try to make several thin coats instead of slopping it on. Overall, it is unique and different, but you have to be careful when using it.

this mani looks great, despite the tricky application.
ohh wow I love it :D
Oooh, I do believe this is the best I have ever seen this polish look.
You picked a gorgeous combo and did a great job with application. Sorry it was so tough though.
I think that's why I decided not to buy it...tooo many rules. :(
I found this set at Ross! It's beautiful over blue. Thanks for the tips on the best way to apply it :)
